Safety questions: getting to know them and discretion?
I posted this question about two weeks ago. most everyone
who voted on it indicated that they thought it was excellent.
However, as far as I can tell, nobody attempted to answer
the question. I am still hoping for an answer. Please, I
would like to hear your thoughts on this issue.

"I guess I was a bit surprised as to how much of an issue
safety is. I think this is because it just would not occur
to me to do those kinds of things to a woman. It is against
my nature and foreign to my way of thinking. A lot of the advise
on safety makes sense; meet in a public place, make sure
a friend knows where you are, do not give out personal information,
get to know them first, etc... This leads me to a couple of
questions. How do you get to know each other without giving
out any personal information? If someone is looking for
a discreet relationship and does not necessarily want
to be out in public, how do you balance safety with discretion?
