Newbies topic gone again *sigh*

Darn it. I had a newbies topic on CLASSY ... started on the 18th of May - a Weds. All of a sudden, it's no longer on the topics list today (the 14th of June, a Tues). It *was* there this morning. And no, I don't recall the exact time it was posted since new topics don't have timestamps.

I've posted two dummy replies to it today that have shown up, and there are other topics on the list that haven't received posts today.

Of course I'm going to have to rebuild the stupid thing again before some newbie comes in and posts a new topic to introduce themselves.

And yes, I realize that it makes sense to have them on a monthly basis, as some mods do (LuvMagenta does it in Empowering BBWs.)

But what I can't understand, is WHY it's gone!

In other words, does anyone have a clue about why an existing topic with hundreds of posts (and fresh posts from today) isn't showing up, when there are other topics on the list that don't have any posts from today?

This is sooo frustrating!!
