How Do We See Each Other?
This may be a confusing question, so I'll try to be as
clear as possible.Atwork we were having a discussion about
cute old couples you see still walking hand in hand. You
know, couples in their 80s, still adorable & in love
like at the end of the movie "When Harry Met Sally"
That led to a discussion of people aging & how when you
see someone every day its hard to recognize exactly when
they changed from looking 20 to looking 60. Do you think
people see their partners as they are today or is their vision
of them somehow clouded by memories? I mean I've heard
80 year old men say "she's still the prettiest
girl I know" It sounds like a crazy question I know,
but do we REALLY see with our eyes or our hearts or a combination
of the two?????
