Swimming For Firmer Thighs And Squeeze's
I have always loved the water. As a child I was up at dawn and
in the lake while my poor uncle who just wanted to read his
paper in peace and quiet, had to keep an eye on me. As I grew
older there was less access to lakes and pools. Last year
I moved into a great complex with indoor and outdoor pools
and my love of swimming returned. So are firmer thighs!
I began 15 to 20 laps a couple of times a week just for a little
exercise. I am a larger woman so I decided I need to get into
some routine. I built it up to 20-30 laps 4 times a week after
a few months and kept it there. 2 months ago I read an article
about women in their 40's to 50's losing an average
of 25% of their metabolism due to peri-menopause and menopause.
It said we need to exercise in some way for an hour a day 5 days
minimun, 7 days really.
Well, alrighty then! I had been trying to shed pounds for
2 years with no real success. I started the next day by going
to 40 laps and over a week worked up to 60 laps. I dropped 5
lbs without even trying... drinking Caribou Cooler's
none the less! I felt great. So I upped it to 70, 80, 90, 100!
I don't kill myself with the 100 laps everyday, but
I usually vary from 60-100 during the week. I do the 5 days...
7 is too much, and I know I would burn out. I am down 27lbs in
less than 2 months!
More than that though, I have tailored my routine to work
my fat thighs more! I can't believe the difference
in them! I do 2 of a certain stroke or legs only kick up to five
different ones for 10 laps and then flip to my back and do
the same thing. Rotating keeps your muscles from getting
over worked (I thought I was going to get Popeye arms!)
For the inner and outer thigh a "frog" kick is
great. This can be done alone with no arm assistance while
on your back for a real work-out, or with different back-strokes,
breast-stroke, whatever does it for you. I put on a pair
of pants I had purchased in Mid-May and was amazed that the
legs were roomy! My ass is tighter/smaller, my tummy is
flatter and very firm (well under that little feminine
padding;-) my arms look firm/toned, and even my pussy has
gotten nicer! Now that blew my mind! Things you would never
notice if you didn't shave it. Who knew our pussy's
